Associate - Subscriber Registration Operation

Locations: Matale / Kalutara / Puttlam / Monaragala

Job profile
• Enter data, via computer, pertaining to the customers
• Update database information to reflect most current source of information.
• Follow established practices or standards for the input and presentation of information.
• Proofread and verify data entered.
• Ensure accuracy of information entered to the system.
• Prepare and/or process checks to ensure prompt payment for goods and services
• Print and distribute database information reflecting productivity and activity
• Assist with routine office duties such as typing, filing and record maintenance
• Serve as back-up for other clerical positions in the  unit
• Perform related work as assigned.

 

Candidate Profile
• Sound track record of secondary education
• Excellent skills in computer with good typing speed
• Flexibility in working hours is a must

Technical Officer - Network Optimization

Job Profile

  • Attend to drive tests and prepare reports based on observations and analysing drive tests
  • Solving RF related problems identified through drive testing on site if possible
  • Attending and conducting site surveys with engineers
  • Attending to customer complaints on access network and providing the most efficient, cost effective solution while ensuring the customer satisfaction
  • Identify and report on issues with the network which were brought to the notice via customer complaints and take initiatives to solve same
  • Manage and build relationship with customers to enhance the organization’s image and to minimize customer churn
  • Carryout in building survey for distributed antennae system for repeaters and indoor sites
  • Monitoring and carrying out acceptance tests for repeater installations carried out by subcontractors
  • Provide required equipment to subcontractors to implement solutions and return excess equipment to stores
  • Track, records and report asset transfers
  • Provide details regarding antenna configuration changes to relevant engineer to update tools and databases

 Candidates Profile

  • Diploma in Telecommunications OR equivalent
  • Good knowledge in GSM/WCDMA systems, Drive Testing and Knowledge in Antenna systems
  • Knowledge in computer networking will be an added advantage

Executive - Fraud Prevention

Job Profile

 

  • Effectively contribute to plan the investigations of the Fraud Management Team along with own investigation assignments with the supervision and direction of the Manager – Fraud Prevention.
  • Conduct effective investigations, under the supervision and guidance of the Manager – Fraud Prevention; on alleged fraud, irregularity or misconduct by securing the evidence at the standard of a criminal litigation having analyzing records, interviewing witnesses and subjects, attending in Courts/Tribunals/Mediation Boards when required to give evidence. 
  • Report the findings and recommendations upon analysis and submit the reports through the Manager – Fraud Prevention and appropriate Heads of Internal Audit and Assurance for the consideration and reference by the Senior Management.
  • Liaise with the middle management and the senior management in conducting investigations and discuss the findings together with recommendations in order to address the identified risks.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Possess a Degree in Business Administration, IT or equivalent.
  • Excellent development skills in IT especially in the areas of SQL, Java and Visual Basic are a must.
  • A part qualification in CIMA/ICASL/ACCA/CMA and HND in Telecommunication will be an added advantage.
  • An analytical and inquiring mind to assess evidence and facts to identify and challenge the discrepancies and carry out further investigations.
  • Excellent understanding of and commitment towards diversity and equality in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and presentation skills to produce reports with clarity and precise facts upon logical findings and recommendations and the ability to present the outcome with valid explanations and justifications.
  • A good team player with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to effectively work in a team environment and other regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to work independently and work under pressure.   
  • Should have a flexible approach towards work on a shift basis including night shifts.
