Assistant Manager - IT & Technical Audit

Job Profile

  • Undertake the identification and evaluation of  audit risk areas relating to Technology through a risk-based audit methodology, and manage the preparation of the IT & Technical annual audit plan based on the identified risks
  • Manage IT & Technical audits to ensure the adequacy of audit scope, the adequacy of testing performed, and the accuracy of conclusions reached
  • Manage the audit assignments independently and escalate as may be required to Head of Internal Audit (HoIA)
  • Ensure that audit procedures are strictly adhered to, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documentation of Technology processes and procedures
  • Conducting interviews, develop and administering surveys, composing summary memos, and preparing working papers and draft audit report for close conference with auditee
  • Communicate the results, findings and recommendations of audit projects via written reports and face-to-face presentations on a timely basis to the management and HoIA
  • Maintain all organisational and professional ethical standards and ensure internal audit activities are carried out in compliance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) and IIA Code of Ethics
  • Manage the planning and execution of audits relating to the different IT platforms and network platforms, the evaluation of Technology internal controls and communicate collaboratively with management to identify actions needed

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or telecommunications, electronic communication/ engineering from a first tier educational institute
  • Professional membership of ISACA / CISA or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years technology / IT audit & consultancy related work experience preferably with a Telco operator or similar industry.
  • Big 4  grounding or consultancy background is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal
  • Should possess excellent skills in organization, time management, leadership and project management 
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and work on multiple concurrent tasks to meet tight deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of complex technology architecture and associated risk and control principles and their applicability to typical business environments and issues
  • Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance and provide appropriate direction to other internal audit project team members
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and ethics
  • Working knowledge of ISO 27000, ISO 20000, ITIL, COSO and COBIT framework
  • Willingness to travel across the country to carryout field audits
  • Conversant in Microsoft Office suite including Visio

Assistant Manager-Internal Audit (Financial / Operational Auditor)


Job Profile

•Assist Internal Audit management with periodic reporting to the Audit Committee, development of the annual internal audit plan, risk assessments, championing internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business
•Responsible for planning, executing and completing audit field work according to established schedule and set budget
•Review, evaluate, and document internal control systems whilst ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
•Conduct special projects and assignments within various departments or centers
•Prepare the draft audit report with implementable recommendations to be discussed during the exit conference, organize and lead the exit conference
•Perform work in an efficient and effective manner, within the established project work plan
•Maintain a good understanding of financial, operational, auditing and the organization’s information processing environment
•Coach and mentor junior staff members on the audit project team, as appropriate as well as provide on-the job training

Candidate Profile

•Should be a member of either ICASL / ACCA
•Minimum of 3 years financial / operations audit related work experience, preferably with a Telco operator or related industry

Executive - Fraud Prevention

Job Profile

 

  • Effectively contribute to plan the investigations of the Fraud Management Team along with own investigation assignments with the supervision and direction of the Manager – Fraud Prevention.
  • Conduct effective investigations, under the supervision and guidance of the Manager – Fraud Prevention; on alleged fraud, irregularity or misconduct by securing the evidence at the standard of a criminal litigation having analyzing records, interviewing witnesses and subjects, attending in Courts/Tribunals/Mediation Boards when required to give evidence. 
  • Report the findings and recommendations upon analysis and submit the reports through the Manager – Fraud Prevention and appropriate Heads of Internal Audit and Assurance for the consideration and reference by the Senior Management.
  • Liaise with the middle management and the senior management in conducting investigations and discuss the findings together with recommendations in order to address the identified risks.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Possess a Degree in Business Administration, IT or equivalent.
  • Excellent development skills in IT especially in the areas of SQL, Java and Visual Basic are a must.
  • A part qualification in CIMA/ICASL/ACCA/CMA and HND in Telecommunication will be an added advantage.
  • An analytical and inquiring mind to assess evidence and facts to identify and challenge the discrepancies and carry out further investigations.
